I don't understand ...What is that off to the left?
Is it a trail with water flowing?
Looks like you needed your
rubber boots, as tennis shoes
with socks might become soggy.

Re: I don't understand ...That is the "trail". No tennis shoes allowed in the winter. The water doesn't "flow" here, it just puddles. Lots of vernal pools with endangered fairy shrimp. Do elk eat shrimp?

about faraway places. Until I
stumbled upon Summitpost, I didn't
even know there was a place called
the "Independent Republic of North
Beerwah." And now, you're asking me
about the eating habits of elk???
I believe the "answer man" Dean has
