Lower Table Rock

Lower Table Rock

At the top of the Lower Table Rock trail is the trail that goes across the table top to the south end about 1 mile away. On clear days, it is worth the walk to the far end. 14 December 2007

I don't understand ...

What is that off to the left?
Is it a trail with water flowing?
Looks like you needed your
rubber boots, as tennis shoes
with socks might become soggy.
Sorry 'bout the elk. They must
be having a meeting at the Elk's
Lodge ... a dinner party or something!

Re: I don't understand ...

That is the "trail". No tennis shoes allowed in the winter. The water doesn't "flow" here, it just puddles. Lots of vernal pools with endangered fairy shrimp. Do elk eat shrimp?

I don't know ...

I'm just a humble reader of books
about faraway places. Until I
stumbled upon Summitpost, I didn't
even know there was a place called
the "Independent Republic of North
Beerwah." And now, you're asking me
about the eating habits of elk???
I believe the "answer man" Dean has
all the information you desire.
Happy Holidays, Dennis! : - )
