Great hike
Really enjoyable hike over Fiske first, beautiful area and scenic trail. The trail between Fiske and Lowery gets progressively worse (brushy). The Fiske/Lowery hike is a classic, I very much enjoyed this one. TR is HERE.

Clear views of Lassen and Shasta.
The last part of the trail, final ascent to Lowery summit, is quite overgrown, though the path is not hard to follow.
Be sure to wear long pants and laong sleeve shirt, and bring work gloves. If you want to clip, work on the last part of the trail

While backpacking.
Climbed Fiske and then Lowery while doing a 17.5 backpacking loop here as per the yolohike.org map. Absolutely beautiful views and gorgeous in early Spring. A lot of cat scat and pug marks around on the ridgeline. Photos & Info.

Fiske + Lowrey
Beautiful day for a hike up the Blue Ridge from Cache Creek, with Shasta floating on the horizon. Crossed paths with a few people heading up or back from Fiske, but little recent evidence of people continuing past Fiske, and by the time I got to Lowrey the only footprints aside from mine were deer, bear, and mountain lion. The trail is straightforward but some sections between Fiske and Lowrey are rather overgrown, including nasty thorns.

Chilly day!
Ground frozen all the way to the top of Fiske, and even across to Lowery and back before it thawed. Slick stuff on the way down! They did some serious trail clearing to get up the last slopes of Lowery from Fiske. Flat light day, pictures were crummy, but I really like driving up that valley.

Tagged Lowery after first stopping at Fiske. Beautiful fall day. I didn't see any poision oak, but I was still very paranoid about it. Hiked with Ol' Walsher .
