Great Opportunity

Everyone should make this climb at least once in a lifetime to fully appreciate the outstanding beauty of this area, providing fabulous views of the Minarets, Mammoth Mountain, and the lakes basin. Access it either through Crystal Lake or McLeod Lake above Horseshoe Lake.

I agree with you 100 percent and also continue on the trail to Deer Lakes. The views of the Silver Divide are outstanding and there are a couple of gorgeous lakes before the pass to Deer Lakes.
