You can drive a rough 4WD road from the ghost town of Hancock to the Lower Hancock Lake. A trail will take you from the lower lake to Chalk Creek Pass. After snow melt, you should avoid the slopes on the west side of the upper lake to avoid trampling the alpine tundra |  Image Data
