Mark trudging up the last...
Mark trudging up the last slope to the base of the face. The snow was no more than 30 degrees at its steepest--just enough to use the ice axe. Otherwise, we should have just left that weight at camp. We were aiming for the snowfinger left of center. May 29, 2005.
