| Took the kids and grandpa up this little jewel. Incredible wildflowers and wildlife. Completely different from the rest of the park i.e. Hidden Valley and environs. I saw my first desert tortoise here, as well as several chuckwallas. Great to make a look hike out of it. | |

| Part of a day off from rock climbing. Took a tour of the southern part of the park, including this little gem. Good nature trail loop with lots of interpretive signs, and a very short, nice scramble to the top. Excellent and unique view of the San Jacento, the Santa Rosas, and the Salton Sea. | |
