May 28th, 2005 - The Northwest Ridge seen from Capitol Lake. A is the III 5.7 Steep Snow/Ice variation, which is plagued by rockfall in the Slingshot Couloir. B is the III 5.9 variation that bypasses this rotten couloir by ascending a crack that drops into a chimney.

Note: The labeling for the routes & feautres is done as a best guess based on route descriptions. The 5.7 variation may top out on the next snowy chute over, but I couldn't determine this for certain.

"What I see in Nature is a magnificent structure that we can comprehend only very imperfectly, and that must fill a thinking person with a feeling of humility. This is a genuinely religious feeling that has nothing to do with mysticism."   --Albert Einstein
