McLaughlin Canyon Caves are a series of inter-connected fracture caves and crevasses in the southwestern slope of Tonasket Mountain, in Okanogan County, Washington State. There is a thousand+ feet of passage way with vertical inter-mixes. Some of the routes are naturally lit from narrow slits open to the sky above. Other areas are lightless. These are unregulated caves and at this time I am unsure of ownership. Local teenagers know of them thus parts of the caves have graffiti & trash. A few short technical rappels gains access to cool, moist lower areas outside causal exploration. Several years ago I took my son and daughter spelunking here and they loved it.
