Meany - summit pitch

The summit of Mt. Meany requires a Class 4/Class 5.0 climb of about 20 feet. It's easier than it appears from below. Basically, you go up about ten feet then left on a ledge to a depression then up to an incline with loose rock all over it. A 30m rope is sufficient to get up and down (we rapped as seen here). The rest of the climb from the incline to the top is Class 3 but with one Class 3+ quasi-cheval move. Aug. 15, 2010.
