Out of Malibu Canyon
Went up at the hottest part of the day during a heat wave, so very little company on the trail even on a sunny Sunday... Views of the canyon along the way were outstanding!

From Malibu Canyon
Nice little morning hike with my wife. Did McAuley first followed by this one. Then continued on past by a tenth of a mile and picked up a use trail that follows a spur south towards the coast. It follows the crest about a half mile before steeply descending towards Pepperdine University down to the coast. Views up and down the coast are very scenic.

Via Mesa Peak Motorway
Tagged Mesa on the way back after checking off nearby McAuley Peak. Views are just ok - best toward the west. Makes for an easy afternoon workout.
