Mima Mounds
Mima Mounds
Mima mounds, such as seen in this photo, are a geological oddity found only in a few places in the world. They are named after the Mima Prairie, in Thurston County of Washington State, within which a large number of the formations are located. Their origin is unknown but widely debated.
