A "forest" of miniture ferns on a fallen log on Couchsacraga. The ferns were only 1/2 inch (1 cm) tall. The "undergrowth" consisted of a fine delicate moss. The upper reaches of the mountain contain several acres of these miniture forests and cascades of emerald green mosses. Comments[ Post a Comment ]
