Awesome shot...

I still cannot really decipher what the look on the climber means though. I think he would be smiling a lot more if he had some leashless tools, that is the way to go on mixed man!

Re: Awesome shot...

I think he's searching for his next "Jesus" hold. :) This is a great shot; love the contrast of color and terrain.

Re: Jerry--

I met Alex in Wyoming, he worked with a friend of mine. He was an amazing climber, skier, person and a very humble climber . It was amazing to watch him climb. When I heard of his accident it left my heart pinched .How do you like climbing in Red Rocks. I have a cool story of that place I will send to you Best of luck Climbing

Re: Jerry--

I wish that I had had the privilege of meeting Alex Lowe........I did meet Ed Viesturs once at REI in Denver at a slide show before he completed his 14th 8000 meter peak.......He was also very humble and nice....I love climbing at Red Rock.......It was an amazing surprise after moving to Vegas---Not only casinos are found here. .........I did not ever climb in Fremont Canyon.......We did not start climbing until we moved to Durango, CO.......But the climbing picked up once we moved to Vegas....I led my first bolted route a couple of months ago at RR.....Haven't done much lately here because it is too hot!! Hoping to start (someday) ice climbing and improve our rock climbing skills........I hear Ouray is good for ice too...Thanks a bunch for writing......I appreciate the support....Kathy
