Pretty,

yet deadly. He looks ready to strike. Sure like to see one, but I like to see him first.

true Marc, I could have easily stepped on him or near him in this instance...as it turned out had some climbing friends from Ireland so it was quite a treat for them...cheers

theyre so beautiful but just so deadly! I've had many encounters with these wondrous creatures. glad your irish friends got a taste of western fauna

you know, I love all animals..and never mind getting up close and personal with grizzlies and rattlers....but watching a few battles with venom on a Discovery Channel special called "I shouldn't be Alive" keeps one honest about possible consequences. Different folks react different ways, not to mention the amount of venom injected can make a profound difference in ones experience. Cheers
