Mont Blanc du Tacul NW flank, Aiguille de Saussure on the right in the rocky face under sunlight. The normal route is entirely visible on this picture. The shoulder is this sunny line used to go to the summit. On this picture it's easy to understand why the second part of the route on the NW flank is exposed in case of fall. 12/2004
