Re: This is...

Thanks Scott! I hope you are not cursing me for the suggestion that you might not need snowshoes today.

Re: Yes indeed...

Thanks Dean! BTW, I had a very nice hike to View Benchmark this morning and Scott is there now.

Re: Yes indeed...

I almost did the View hike this morning myself, instead I opted to head out to the Vernon area to try a couple small prominence peaks but the mud was a bit much so I took my wife out for lunch instead. Did you have to use snowshoes this morning or was it solid enough to just hike?

Re: Yes indeed...

That was a fun hike Dean. Thanks for adding the page. Snowshoes were not needed, although I did post-hole a few times, but nothing serious.

Re: Yes indeed...

Hey Scott, I'm glad you liked it. It is a good little conditioner when you throw on a pack and also hit the other little peaklets in the nearby area. Its not far from where I live, just a bit more than 10 miles. The wind can sure blow up there sometimes. : )

I did the hard version today :)

Started on about 11700 S. on the Bonneville shoreline and ran up Corner Canyon, over to View Benchmark, and then over to the highest point on the ridge above Draper, on our way to the hang glide park (South Mountain??) Do you know what the name of that summit is? I don't think it has an SP page, but I think it should. 13 miles total. Great day!
