Route Climbed: From Rifugio Roma Date Climbed: August 1977 - August 1993
This is the first glacier ascended with my father starting at 4 A.M. as we can see the sunrise on the top. With us there was a slovenian friend of my father (unfortunately died few years ago). Nace, this was his name, was a priest, living in Paris, and my father was a communist: the mountain was the L.C.D. (lowest common denominator). The last time was about 10 years ago with my wife.
"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."
