| I drove to the top of this one after hiking up East Mountain (Emery Cohp) earlier in the afternoon after driving up from Vegas. When I topped out, the sun had been down about 20 minutes and the profile of the Southern Wasatch highlighted by the purple/orange sunset glow in the sky was just beautiful. | |

| Hiked up old 4x4 roads and then cut cross country to make this a 4 hour outing. Descended another ridge and slide down on the quickly accumulating north side snow. Unique views of the La Sals, Tushars, Wasatch and Uintas. | |

| 4th Ut COHP. Nice drive from Provo through Fairfield canyon and up to the summit. Drove back through Scofield. Nice end summer afternoon/evening loop. I bet it's even more gorgeous in the fall. So many aspen stands. Will have to go back in October. | |

| Drove to the top, beautiful view at sunset. The most eventful part of the trip: excessive amounts of sheep droppings that flew up from the dirt road as I passed over on the way to the summit. An unpleasant car wash followed. | ||

| Tried to make this one a little bit of hike, but was thwarted by private property signs around Electric Lake. Instead I parked 1/2 a mile away on the Skyline Drive, got about 450 vertical feet out of it, a little better than just parking at the radio towers. At least this way I was able to also climb PT 10040 off the road. | |

| We forced ourselves to get out 0.25 mile from the summit so we could actually "hike" this one. Road conditions were perfect as well as the weather | |

| Beautiful sunset views all around from up here. The road was in good shape, no gates or any other obstacles. The mileage for the junction is correct at ~ 5.2 and it's then < 3 to the summit. Look for the sharp left turn up to the radio tower; ~ 16 miles roundtrip after leaving hwy. 264. | |

| Stopped by and bagged this peak on our way to a geocaching event up on the skyline drive. Great views and was glad my kids could come along. | |

| Fellow SP member Dennis Poulin and myself were wrapping up a week in utah and this was about the 9th county highpoint we did. We slept in our vehicles about 5 miles down the road, just off to the side and did this summit at sunrise. We drove our trucks to the very summit and Martinized the peak (a county highpointer term for putting your foot on the very summit with out getting out of your vehicle) | |
