Monument Valley
I was driving through nearby Kayenta and the clouds and light were spectacular. I couldn't resist the urge to drive the 25 miles up to Monument Valley, AZ/UT and spend a few hours there photographing the amazing geological features. In this image, left to right: Sentinel Mesa (background), Merrick Butte, Big Indian, Saddleback, King on His Throne, and Castle Rock. Imaged in May 2015.
