Interesting...So this is all located in Colorado
National Monument? What a neat area!
These are a type of geological feature
(erosion) where the water forms a
chemical reaction with the minerals in
the rock, forming these 'waterpockets.'
Weary hikers and thristy wildlife can
drink from them after a good rain.
