Very nice picture I was just up Adams the other week but couldn't summit because of the bad weather. Anyways nice shot.

Thanks. It's really the only good thing that comes out of hiking up the Muir Snowfield in the late evening. Other than the sunset, it's a cold, dark, miserable slog...not to be repeated. Much better to hike it in the morning.

spectacular shot I've ever seen of Adams from
Rainier! It looks so close. Is that the Tatoosh Range in the foreground???

I can imagine Adams being this close to Goat
Rocks or St. Helens, but this is rather
interesting. What kind of camera and lens???

To be honest. I have no idea what range is in the foreground. I was probably 30 minutes from camp Muir on the Muir Snowfield, looking south. The sky was extremely clear and I was using a 135mm lens on a Canon 30D camera. It was a remarkable moment.
