| Hadn't really snowed in two weeks so I went for it. Someone had already broken a trail with snowshoes about a quarter mile up the road and another person had followed in boots, so I followed with snowshoes, then switched to micro spikes once i got above the treeline. Hiked the southern-most ridge most of the way then traversed over to the avy fences, and then straight up to the top. The wind was crazy, I had to descend immediately. The whole thing took a little over 3 hours - descending in the snow with micro spikes was easy (descended the same way) and low-stress on the knees. I had a wild time doing this, so awesome. The wind and the super steep grade had me nervous at times but I didn't slip once. | |

| Traversed along the up-and-down ridge from Citadel then straight down the steep south face back to the trail. Checked out the snow fences while I was up there. | |

| Up Herman's Gulch and bushwhacked up an old avalanche gully directly to the summit. Didn't last long on the summit due to an incoming storm. | |
