| utes | not very fun ![]() Date Climbed: Mar 8, 1998 | |
| seems like this mountain goes straight up with little redeeming qualities other than you've climbed a 14er. I summitted in the winter, maybe it would be better in summer. | ||

| I like it on top | Standard Route ![]() Date Climbed: Apr 19, 2006 | |
| Have climbed this a few times. Summer of 02 and then twice in winter type conditions for prep to Deanli. Just having the cold, wind, altitude, and heavy pack. Always a good trip. | ||

| Joe_Parvis | Bierstadt - West Slopes ![]() Date Climbed: Jul 1, 2007 | |
| West Slopes main trail on a Sunday - VERY crowded. Clear, fair weather and light wind. My wife's first 14er - nice day out and good acclimation for later in season. Next time up to Guanella we'll probably go to Squaretop --- all day we kept looking wistfully through the crowds at it's calm and quiet. | ||

| haytraci | Short Hike ![]() Date Climbed: Sep 27, 2006 | |
| This was by far the easiest 14er I've done, considering you are very close to the summit when you start out. Still, it was a great day out with friends! I would say it's a good starter peak, but I wouldn't want to lead anyone to believe all 14ers are this easy. | ||

| gunnersmith | West Slope ![]() Date Climbed: Jun 10, 2007 | |
| We took this route to climb the Sawtooth and Evans. We glassed the route from the summit of Bierstadt and it was too snowy/icy for our taste, so we made a short day of it and retreated to Georgetown for lunch and a beer. | ||

| mountainloverCO | My First 14er ![]() Date Climbed: Jul 1, 2006 | |
| My very first 14er, and what a great experience! Skies were blue, the sun was out, and the trail from Guanella Pass was jampacked full of dayhikers from Denver. We experienced a very crowded summit, and rain on the way down. Regardless, the experience was enjoyable enough to prompt an addiction to climbing. Thank you Bierstadt! | ||
