| The pain generated in my thighs from descending through the scree was unpleasant, to say the least. Yet, the whole Decalibron Day (D-Day) was wonderful! Scree fest and all! | |

| I did this one with Lincoln and Democrat. Probably the easiest three 14ers to bag in a day. Two Boxers hiked up with their owners. They were still doing outstanding on the summit. | |

| Came up Lincoln Amphitheater and got all 4 (Lincoln, Bross, Cameron and Democrat) before having to bail down to Kite Lake because of a storm. Found a nice couple to give me a ride back over to my car. | |

| Had to bail from the Decalibron after Cameron because of wind and blowing snow like I'd never seen before. 70+ mph. There were times when we were crawling. But we were on the shoulder of Bross at 14,000' so it seemed worth it to sign the log | |
