A Superlative Peak
Mount Eddy is one of northern California's most dominant peaks. Condemned to relative obscurity due to its proximity to Mount Shasta, the northstate's monarch, Mount Eddy is nonetheless a peak of great distinction. The highest point in the Klamath Mountains, it is also the highpoint of Trinity County and the highest point in the U.S. west of Interstate 5. The mountain is also one of 57 ultra-prominence peaks in the lower 48 United States. Lastly, Mount Eddy is a rare triple-divide peak. Its summit marks the divide between the Sacramento, Trinity and Shasta Rivers.
This album is intended to highlight a fantastic yet under appreciated mountain.
