the Tahoe area right now? Thanks!

Re: Haven't heard

Hi Larry...Happy Spring to you!
beautiful weather here lately, warm sunny days, been loving it..wake up and I can already open doors and windows, brew coffee, listen to the birds! The snow is going, south facing there is just about nothing, I have not been out in Desolation yet,I had heard there is still snow..put in certain areas only..and then some patchy areas. The truckee river has a good flow right now, but not to raging..everything is so lush and green right now, the meadows are beautiful. I really love it here this time of year. How are you all doing? Hows the weather in AZ? Have you been hiking or is it to hot?

Great to get your message..thank you
Take care
Anita

Anita,

You just descibed what 99.5% of the folks
here in central Arizona do 300 days out
of the year. The opening doors and windows
and brewing coffee part!

I'm not going to complain about the hot
weather. Hiking is a real treat, as a
person is bound to see more wildlife.

Bears have been sighted outside Payson.
Just curious - what's your population
of cougars and coyotes like, or do you
even have coyotes there? I really miss
listening to the coyotes that live near
Roosevelt Lake south of Payson. Take care!

Re: Anita,

Larry...you are lucky to be in Arizona to be able to have the morning coffee brewing and the doors and windows open most of the year :)
I love being able to do that part of the year here.
We have a lot of Coyotes here..I LOVE them so much...we just saw a nice healthy one the other day..he or she was a beauty! The cougar population here I do not know..i know we have them, but seeing one would be very rare in the basin..I have been told they are more on the east slope from us more down in the high desert..Woodsford/Markleville along the Carson River areas. They too are gorgeous animals! Have you been hiking?
Enjoy that cup of Java!
Take care
Anita
