I've been soaked in a rain storm, blown off the top, and drenched in sweat like you'd get on a summer day in Death Valley, and I've loved every minute. | |

| It was a warm day, maybe about 80F, and there was a guy hiking around the island wearing a fully loaded 80L pack, thermal layers, and plastic mountaineering boots. Looked like he was ready for a heat stroke by the time he arrived at the summit. | |

| We caught the packed out 11 am ferry out of Tiburon running late. It landed at Ayala Cove at 11:30. Wasting no time up the Sunset Trail then hustled back cutting switchbacks and some bushwhacking to catch the 1:20 ferry back to Tiburon. Too short to really groove on the island. Will make sure to have more time next trip. | |
