Fine page on the hightest mountain on Baffin Island and the highest in the Canadian Arctic exclusive of Ellesmere Island. Should this have been submitted on a Wednesday?
Why a Wednesday.. out of curiousity??? Thanks for the vote... I think I'm done with Auyuittuq for now time to maybe look at adding some peaks from the Chic Chocs.
I really like these pages you've done about these peaks.
What geological forces created these mountains? Are these new mountains? Or part of an older formation? Certainly not part of the process that created the Appalachians and the Scottish Highlands. Or was it?
Your pictures are really great. Makes me want to go up there, too. Not to mention all the information that you put on the page. I'm getting used to that :-))
