Mount Rogers / AT trails meet at Deep Gap

A sign marks the joining of the Mount Rogers Trail with the Appalachian Trail at Deep Gap. The merged trail heads to the left in this photo, towards the summit. The trail split to the right leads to the Elk Garden trailhead. 

The AT is marked with white blazes while the Mount Rogers Trail is marked with blue blazes. Photo taken May 15, 2011.
