| Hiked this one starting lower down to the West and traversing north of the massif ridge. I have plans to come back and hike this one properly - bike from SF and hike it from the valley. Maybe this summer? | |

| My second summit for the day (Sonoma Peak earlier). I got to the East Peak parking lot close to sunset. Wind was howling and visibility was about 200 feet. Tagged my 3rd CA Cohp. Looked at the map and decided to see if there was somewhere to eat in Bolinas. It wasn't cheap but I had an absolutely delicious dinner at the Coast Cafe. | |

| We took the Fern Creek Trail to summit Mount Tamalpais and the Old Railroad grade to descend. Continued in the Muir Woods. After low clouds in the morning there was a stunning clear view over the bay area and San Francisco during our summit break. | |
