I'm just a bit puzzled about the altitude; I read several times on maps that the Pico da Neblina is 3014 meters high, thus Brazil's one and only 3000er. Is this incorrect - or have new measurements brought the conclusion that Neblina is 20 meters lower than thought so far? This would interest me!
Cheers,
Eric
Yes, the new measurement ("projeto pontos culminantes do brasil": search it on google and translate! :)) made it lower to that new altitude, 2.994m. So, we don't have any 3000m peak! :/
