Good addition to Table Mountain for those visiting South Africa. You can even find winter snow here. In anycase it is an interesting mountain that can be combined with others for great hiking.

If not, it's certainly worth a visit if you're ever down this way.

If I remember geography, the Lattitude can't be North.

Another interesting South African mountain. I wonder if you encounter any game in the plains? And what about rock climbing in the cliffs?

These days the only game you might find on these plains will be various species of small buck, in addition to your regular snakes and birdlife. I imagine there would have been leopards here once, and maybe there still are one or two, but if you want to see game you should really look in at one of the big parks elsewhere in the country. One place to find both game and big mountains is the Giant's Castle Game Reserve, in the Natal Drakensberg.
