Then, out of nowhere, when I...

Then, out of nowhere, when I least expected it and thought this dying day can't produce anything good anymore, came the beam which lit up 80km distant Dinara massif. In the middle is Dinara/Sinjal (1830m), highest peak in Croatia. Cone left of it is Bat (1850m), which is in Bosnia Herzegovina. Viewed from South Velebit, Tulove Grede area.

Re: Nice experience!

Thanks Vid, very much!! It was cloudy and quite dark at the time of sunset; I was on the way down the mountain. Then at the edge of my sight I noticed something unusual and turned look. I couldn’t believe how red Dinara was! Like a cowboy, with the speed of light, I draw a camera out and found a convenient rock because I didn’t have a tripod with me. It turned out well :-)

It is hard not to notice when you are not around so it’s nice to see you back :-) I hope you visited some nice mountain in the mean time.

Re: Nice experience!

No, I didn't. My web connection was broken :-( Now it's OK again. We have rain and I'm free this whole week. So, I don't have any plans.
