Thanks, Vitaliy! That is indeed William and I in the last photo. He's doing well, as far as i know -- he moved to Chicago, but still makes it out to California for the yearly suffer-fest...

Thanks for sharing your SC 2012 experience. I had fun hiking and climbing with you, William, and Phil on Day 1 to Eocene Peak. Yes, the descent seemed to go on and on; even after Twin Lakes came into view. I climbed four other minor peaks later in the SC, but still had fun climbing with long-time SC friends Jeff and Paul on days eight and nine.
