Mount Lougheed (left) stands over 10,000 ft and the beautiful Three Sisters (middle right), are both signitures of the Bow Valley. Three Sisters is the trademark for the small mountain town of Canmore, AB and appears in countless photographs of the area. Mt. Allan, Bow Valley Wildland Provincial Park 2007.

Yeah this is me on the summit of Mt. Allen (2839 m) here in Kananaskis. The mountain to the left is Mt. Lougheed and in the middle-right that would be Three Sisters.

I enjoyed The Kananaskis very much

We went ice climbing in Alberta and B.C. in 2005 .Did alot of ice climbs in the Kananaskis area Mt Kidd was one of my favorite Mountains, I really enjoyed the sun rises and sun sets in that river valley next to the mountains. Thanks for sharing more pictures of that area. Cheers fro th ice man Jerry.

Thanks for the comment. It is a great area of the Rockies and I'll never forget living there. There is some good ice climbing in the valley and King's Creek and I beleive Fortress Mtn and Kidd as well.

Thanks. For not that hard of a climb the veiws are great. Lots of bigger peaks all around you.
