| Climbed Mount Iowa after Horstmann, from the upper Stephens Lake. This combination made for a great scramble with spectacular views. Here’s a trip report and some more photos. | |

| Found the original summit tin with signatures back to 1947 (Paul Petzoldt, Bob & Merriam Underhill). Next ascent in 1971 (Lyman Dye), then 1991. Spectacular jagged ridgeline with great views. Peak is seldom climbed because it's not really visible from any road or major trail, yet it's a great climb. | |
