So that's what it looks like!

I hiked up Plummer in early spring 2005, reaching the summit in a white-out. No views whatsoever.

Nice foto.

That's not unusual for hiking / climbing in the northwest at all. About half my peaks in Wa / Or have been done in the rain, fog, or truly yucky weather. Now you know why I like the desert peaks so much. Hey, courtney, come join us on Mt. Baker in June.

Thanks for the invite, Dean. Actually, I climbed Mt. Baker a few years ago...but, I'll send you an email about something related.

I'm not positively

sure what Mt. Baker has to do with
Mount Rainier. They're both volcanoes?

Yes, the weather can be quite fickle.
I remember looking down at Plummer
from Camp Muir several times in the 1980s.
