Sabre!

You just photographed one of the classic climbs of NZ. Left of centre in this shot is Mt Sabre. It's NE buttress (on the left) is one of the scariest things I've ever seen.Not climbed until 1969. The other mountain to the right of sabre is Mt Marian. That face is 800 metres!

Cheers, I did not know that. It's a fantastic face, couldn't take my eyes off it as we flew past.
