Mt. Whitney looms centerstage as I was about to begin the ascent up to Iceberg Lake. It was near here that I had a minor mishap that broke my right hand and forced me to descend.

	Hasn't voted	How can you not love the American west? Mt. Whitney is a jewel. My favorite dayhike of recent years. Of course you seem to get around alot as well.
