Muddy Peak

I m worn out
This was one of the toughest hikes I did all year. It was 4.2 miles to the summit over some ridges and nice scrambling. I hadn't hiked for 6 weeks either when I did this hike and I could tell how I was a little out of shape.

This peak makes for a long day as well, as there is about 11 miles of off roading that leads to the trailhead. Definately requires 4 wheel drive. It gave my pickup it's first real test using 4 wheel drive several times.

Going up to the first ridge you have to hike up there is some amazing sandstone. The final part to the summit is a fun scrambling adventure too.
Descenting Muddy Peak
It isn't as hard as it looks when first looking at the summit.
