My Trusty Tent 1970 - early1980s

Eureka Timberline 2 person Tent I have lots of fond memories camping and backpacking with this tent. Shown is a buddy on a backpacking trip we took along the AT in Virginia south of Front Royal in the mid-70s. The fly eventually delaminated and I recycled the poles to use with other Eureka tents in my son's Boy Scout troop. I cut up the tent itself and sewed part of it into gaiters, nylon bags etc. which I waterproofed and still use sometimes.

Flashback

Again,
This shot brought back old memories for me as well, I still have my old "two manner" somewhere. Martha's Vineyard, Lake George, Mt Washington, Block Island, etc, etc Way fun!
I still have and use my old sleeping bag from back then.

I see that your equipment is well-traveled also! I came across my sleeping bag from those days when I was cleaning out the basement recently and it is still very useable too!
