Nevado Shacsha (5703m) from the NE

Our camp site, deep in Quebrada Rurec, is still in the shadow of the mountains, but the early morning sun is illuminating the higher peaks around us.

Few people see Shacsha from this side, and I was surprised to see no glacier anymore. The southern and western sides are less steep, and (still) covered with glaciers.
