Introduction
24 March 2007, Nadie and me climbed Nevero starting on Puerto de Navafría. It was a sunny but windy day. The snow was recent and soft though it had icy forms. Finally, we ascended Alto del Puerto, Alto del Puerto W summit, Nevero and Peñacabra. Descent was on the same route. Trees just below Alto del Puerto E ridge were covered by ice. So was the survey point on the top of Nevero. We were having lunch there and decided to attempt Peñacabra too. We only found a pair of climbers though it was saturday. Descent was quick and we enjoyed cornices on Alto del Puerto E ridge. Well, the day was fantastic, those wich you'll remember in the near future.External Links
