New Mailbox on Mount Adarra

New Mailbox on Mount Adarra

Mount Adarra (820 ms / 2,690 ft) is the mountain of San Sebastián par excellence. Its conical shape is clearly visible to the South of the city and have a tradition of getting on the summit at new year's morning (a commendable thing, given how the party is there the night before). This peak stands at the end of the long divide to the south of River Bidasoa Valley and, in the endless discussions about where Cordillera Cantábrica ends and Pyrenees begins, it's for many people the westernmost pyrenean summit. There's two mailboxes (old and new) on its summit. November 23, 2008.

Re: Why

I think rain cleans everything, including paint.
I also don't know what is the heart-shaped sticker.
Greetings from Spain.
