Fun little climb  Sucess!

RTed in 6.5hrs, so not most of a day. Crux 5.3 is a bit loose, awkward, and a bit exposed but not too bad as a solo going up. Gave a rope for my friend for that but we soloed everything else except the rap bypassing the crux going down. The 5.0 higher is pretty straight forward up and down. Possible to solo the crux but would be a bit intimidating. TONS of ants mating up top!!

Mazamas Ahoy!  Sucess!

A Mazama climb lead by Robin Wilcox and Larry Beck. Awesome route with just enough spice to make things interesting. Can't say I would lead this route yet, but I would definitely go back for seconds.

solo fun  Sucess!

after being rained out a couple weeks earlier, my girlfriend and I headed back and climbed the north ridge. She waited at the base of the steep section, and I solo'd the north ridge route. This is a fun route, with minimal (although there is definitely some) loose rock. Great summit; someday I would like to bivy up there...
