a decent descent
After doing the horseshoe as far as Crib Goch on the first part of the 14 peaks tour, My boot slipped crossing the sharp bit and freakishly twisted my ankle severely. That was the end of the 14ers and the quickest way back to civilisation from there was down the North Ridge. By the time I reached the pass, my mate ken had descended, steamed up to Pen Y Pass and got the car and was able to ferry me back home.
