Noyes - upper East Ridge

The upper east ridge of Mt. Noyes. The slope got a little easier but the rock didn't get any more solid. Many of the mountains around Low Divide are comprised of sharp shale-like basalts. They can cut you wide open in a heartbeat if you fall on them or even carelessly slide a wrist over them. Aug. 15, 2010.
