"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

quick jauntTook seventy five minutes from the dam parking lot to the summit. Many streams coming off the summit ridge reminded me of Sleeping Giant in CT. Still a few shreds of snow in the shade up top. The trail on the ridge was marked well enough to follow although the blazes are faded. Good overlooks in two locations that provided view of the Catskills and the highest skyscrapers of the City.

Hot day!I remember that it was really hot this day. I was hoping for a breeze at the summit, but there wasn't much of one.

Jessup TrailThis was a nice springtime hike. You get some views of the Hudson Highlands, and was able to make out the Catskills in the distance.
