Gimpilator and I attempted Bald Eagle Peak back during March 2010. With Summer-like weather that had extended into October this year (2012), I decided to give it another try. I took the north ridge route and was successful, but I also got numerous scratches, pulled a leg muscle, and temporarily dislocated a should (due to slipping on a steep forest-duff slope). I am very glad I took my microspikes with me, which I wore on the way down.
