Would like to see a gear list.
Like how many bolts and cams, etc? How long of a rope/diameter?
And are crampon compatible boots really necessary or can you just use the other form of strap on crampons?

Here is a good comparison of UIAA and YDS grades. Like all comparisons, it is not exact.

There is also a written description of PD, AD, etc.

Alpine Grades and comparisons

Remember that rock difficulty is given for dry conditions. Good dry conditions are rare on the Matterhorn, so you should be able to climb comfortably at the grade wearing crampons.
